cooking competition
I am catering student, studying 3rd year in bsc catering science and hotel management. In 3 years I didn't participated in any cooking or culinary related competition. I first time decided to participate in cooking competition which is going to conduct in Bangalore. I didn't had a any idea of what to cook and which cuisine has to. I simply applied for competition in first place. Which I am the third candidate for competition. I had 2 months of time for competition. I am fully blank because I didn't have any experience in cooking competition. Even though I didn't done any volunteer in competition.so I don't have a single idea what to do because it is bigger level competition. So I started to think and started the research which cuisine if it is main course or starters or dessert. But at end of the day I came back to where I started. My first gave me a advice that we should have to make judges to think. I don't know but this point got stucked in my mind. I decided to cook that no one ever should haven't tried. So I started to invent the dishes. First I invested a dish made up of snake guard,tapioca,and aubergine. The recipe for this dish is first cut the snake guard into cylinder shape and deseed them. Next prepare the stuffing using tapioca and aubergine. Then fill the tapioca at bottom of snake guard and fill aubergine stuffing at centre and again fill the tapioca on top. And coat the outer layer using seasoned flour batter and pan fry it. My mother liked it very much but I didn't get satisfied. So next I invented fourtune egg which we have to break little bit on of egg shell and remove the top and pour out egg and refill the egg with egg stuffing and cook it 10 mins. And again I didn't satisfied. Like this I prepared 3 to 5 dishes but I didn't got satisfied. At last 4 days before competition I came to decided pumpkin veg roll and this also my creative dish which no one had prepared. At last I finalized my dish for competition.
